If there's a God then why do people die in tsunamis and stuff?   Originally, God created everything and gave control of it to Adam and Eve but when they gave in to what the Devil wanted them to do, eating the fruit from that specific tree, Adam and Eve lost the control of the earth to him. So sin (bad things) and death didn’t just affect us as people but the whole of Creation, which includes things like the Earth’s plates which cause earthquakes and tsunami. We believe that one day God will intervene in it all, but for now He’s giving us a chance to have a friendship with Him and get to know Him.
